study results shared by Sleepytot Baby ComforterWith all the products available in the marketplace for babies, it can often be a little overwhelming for new parents to choose the essential products that will help them and their baby without wasting a fortune.

Which?, the Consumer Watchdog, has revealed the results of a study it has undertaken to identify a list of products that parents have found to be least useful for their baby. This list should help new parents avoid products that they could otherwise be a waste of money.

More than 2,000 parents of children aged five or under were asked to identify the items that they used least and most (excluding core products such as cots and car seats).

The study identified the top ten least useful products as:

Door baby bouncer
Baby washing bowls
Manual breast pump
Baby hammock
Fabric sling
Nappy stacker
Bumbo seat
Cot mobile
Swaddling blanket
Nappy disposal bin
With safety being a top priority for anxious new parents, the stair gate was the most popular product.

We’d love to hear from you on our Facebook page what the least useful product you have bought for your little ones? And let us know what you have found to be the most popular product you’ve bought.

While the Sleepytot Baby Comforter wasn’t mentioned in the Which? Study we know from the feedback we receive from parents how valuable it proves to be for little ones and parents!
